Minneapolis, Fall 2017

The leaves were out in all their reds, golds, oranges and greens as the Fall meeting took place at the famed Mall of America, the biggest mall in the USA. Our packed agenda balanced topics on sales, communications, operations, and advertising with camaraderie, learning, sharing, and problem-solving for our members. Trudy Kremer of Jackson Spalding reflects, “IAN is utterly unique. At the Fall 2017 Minneapolis meeting, we had access to some of the best and brightest independent advertising agency minds in a non-competitive atmosphere. The varied content was tangible, inspirational and applicable to our agency.”

San Diego. SPRING 2016

IAN's Spring 2016 Meeting in sunny San Diego was chockfull of valuable discussions among agency members with recent updates on each agency's growth, recruiting and retaining new talent, and the future of ad agency networks. To supplement agency member catch-ups, Tom Flynn of Lessing-Flynn organized a lecture with award-winning entrepreneur and high performance coach, Simon Reynolds, following up by a tour of BASIC, an agency with a focus on brand identity and digital experiences and has clients such as Nike, InCase and Nixon, just to name a few.

Atlanta. Fall 2015

Atlanta offered a unique background for our group to gather, learn and have a great time. Southern hospitality was on full display when we visited Chick-Fil-A’s Hatch - a mindblowing brand thinktank - under the guidance of Dr. Dwain Cox, a supremely interesting and insightful man and The Hatch’s Director of Innovation and Design.
