The Ohlmann Group, a Dayton, Ohio marketing and advertising agency, recently received several awards for the firm’s work on behalf of CareSource, a leading nonprofit managed care company based in Dayton.
The Ohlmann Group was honored in the 35th annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, the nation’s oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. The agency won four awards recognizing “outstanding work and creative inspiration” in advertising for CareSource. The recognitions include:
● Gold winner: CareSource Medicare Advantage – Direct Mail category
● Gold winner: CareSource 2017 Stakeholder’s Report – Annual Report category
● Merit winner: CareSource Healthy Indiana TV Spot – TV Single category
● Merit winner: CareSource Healthy Indiana Campaign – Total Advertising Campaign with TV category

The Healthcare Advertising Awards are sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. A national panel of judges reviewed more than 4,000 entries for the 2017 competition and selected winners based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design, and overall impact.
In addition to the Healthcare Advertising Awards, The Ohlmann Group was also named a winner in the 39th annual Telly Awards competition, an award that honors excellence in local and regional television commercials nationwide. The agency received two silver statuettes for a 30-second television commercial produced for CareSource. The awards include:

● Silver winner: CareSource App Television Spot – “Insurance” category
The Telly Awards recognize the achievement of advertising agencies, televisions stations, production houses, and freelance producers across the country for high-quality TV commercials that have not been broadcast on a national network. The competition receives more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, and entrants are judged by a council of over 200 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies, and major television networks.
